How to Become a Medical Scribe with Scrivas

To apply for a Medical Scribe position at Scrivas, the first thing to do is apply online here after obtaining a medical terminology certificate or completing a medical terminology course. To complete the application process, applicants must undergo a typing test, background check, drug screen, and a two-part interview. If you receive an offer, you will go through a detailed didactic through Scrivas University, which will focus on training you to know how and what to chart during patient encounters in the electronic health record (EHR).

 

After graduating from Scrivas University, you will shadow on-site with a certified Scrivas Trainer, with daily shift goals and feedback. Once you’ve passed your final evaluation, you will be a full-fledged Scrivas Medical Scribe and be able to work one-on-one with board-certified physicians in places like fast-paced emergency rooms, urgent care facilities, hospitals, and medical offices!
